A privately printed (New York) collection of approximately 8000 cartes-de-visite photographs of nineteenth century figures, including over a hundred photos of Abraham Lincoln, his famous contemporaries, both American and European, and photos of Union and Confederate Army officers from the collection of Frederick H.
